With the increasing popularity of perineural catheters and ultrasound guidance, the number of methods available to anesthetize common nerves seems to be ever expanding. Every month, Anesthesia journals report new approaches and techniques. Navigating this plethora of studies, case reports and letters to the editor can be a daunting task. This website presents a personal reading of the available evidence (published in English) as well as our clinical practice based on the latter.

We chose to call this site Regionalworks to underline the fact that the state of knowledge in Regional Anesthesia is a constant work in progress and that our personal practice must also follow suit. And, of course, the subliminal message: Regional works...
